About this event

LOVE IS BLIND is the ultimate blind dinner and sensory experience that takes you on a uniquely curated journey of tastes, sounds, and sensations all while being completely blindfolded.  50 guests will enjoy an amazing 4-course plant-based dinner prepared by renowned vegan Chef Ito of Au Lac Restaurant, followed by special live musical performances, and a full sensory immersion experience designed to excite your senses.  Singles and couples welcomed.

THE EXPERIENCE:
Upon arrival, guests will be required to valet their phones before being blindfolded and led into the dining room. Dinner is served promptly at 7:30PM so it is important to arrive on-time.  Guests are sat at community style tables and served together. Following dinner the space is transformed into a sensory lounge with live music, dancing, massage, and essential oil treatments.  The evening concludes at 10:30PM. Guests are then invited to remove their blindfolds.  Please note that this is a 3-HOUR experience.  We ask that all guests come for the whole evening, and keep their blindfolds throughout.  The blindfolds will be removed 30 mins before the evening concludes.

THE DINNER:
The dinner this evening is being prepared by Chef Ito of Au Lac Restaurant in Downtown LA.  Each ticket includes an amazing 4-course completely vegan dinner, and two drinks tickets with a selection of beer or wine to choose from.  Specialty cocktails also available.  Eating with your hands is encouraged. 

THE MENU
Salt and Pepper Yam Shrimp
Lightly battered yam shrimp, sautéed with purple cabbage, jalapeño and cilantro.

Crimini Pesto
Stuffed mushrooms with thai basil pesto, macadamia nuts, bell pepper, and microgreens.

Egg Rolls
Eggless wrap with mushroom, carrot, jicama, clear rice noodles, taro and almond filling.  Served with lettuce, mint, and dipping sauce.
 
Octopus
Tenderized shiitake mushrooms battered with tapioca flour with sweet and savory tamari-sesame glaze.  Topped with jalapeño, bell pepper and chives.  Served over black rice and cucumber.
 
Garlic & Basil
Rice noodles, apple sage soy sausage, baked garlic cloves, lacinato kale, pine nuts, nutritional yeast, spiced olive oil, garnished with fresh thai basil and non-GMO sriracha.
 
Dessert
Assorted desserts.
